Building Management System (BMS)

Building management systems for hotels have to be adapted to the needs of dierent user groups, especially to the constantly changing guests. Each guest has specific requirements concerning lighting and temperature. Only one thing is the same for every guest: the handling of the room should be as simple and comfortable as possible. Therefore, a precise determination of the set point as well as a customized control of lighting, shading, heating and ventilation is needed.

Automation

Any responsible hotel manager will be concerned about the energy consumption, and will try to improve the energy efficiency of the building while maintaining proper conditions for all the guests. For the perfect building control, some hotel managers have already chosen to use the automation system. By using the system, any hotel manager can control the building with the help of a simple tablet. Anywhere inside the building, the manager can control the system using a software that comes along with the system. This software allows the manager to see if a room is occupied (without entering the room), so it can coordinate the cleaning quicker and more efficient.

Special sensors will signal the required action to ensure the full automation of the building, for example, it can lower the blinds according to a weather sensor located on the roof. A room key card inserted into the room reader, welcomes the guest and indicates to the staff that the room is occupied.
